SALA Festival 2024: GREAT SOUTHERN LAND, South Australia
‘Great Southern Land’ was a very successful debut group exhibition by talented artists Yvonne Pearson (Painter & Photographer) and Melissa Nursey-Bray (Photographer), held at the prestigious Adelaide Central Plaza in CBD Rundle Mall from 1 August 2024 to 31 August 2024.
All five of Yvonne’s incredible artworks exhibited in ‘Great Southern Land’ were sold.
Yvonne was also selected as part of a group of 31 very talented artists to exhibit projections of three of her stunning abstract paintings at the exciting award-winning 2024 SALA Festival venue Karoonda Silos’s ‘Think Big’. WOW, what a great experience! Two of her painting were sold. The third stunning piece 'River Murray Mouth' is available for sale through SHOPSALA.
SALA Festival 2025: WATER, South Australia
WATER, South Australia will be the 2nd stunning group exhibition by artists Yvonne Pearson (Painter & Photographer) and Melissa Nursey-Bray (Photographer).
Yvonne and Melissa will continue their great passion for South Australia, using their creative flair and artistic talents to explore the theme of WATER from their own unique perspectives.
Yvonne will explore WATER through:
• A brilliant large Fluid Abstract Painting, by adding water to her acrylic paints to create unique movement, stunning textures and water cells.
• Presenting a brilliant large Fluid Abstract Painting and three amazing Kinetic Light Painting Photographs with South Australian Coastal Water themes.
• Displaying an incredible piece of Ebru Water Marbling. Ebru Water Marbling is an ancient form of Turkish painting also known as ‘Painting on Water’.
