Nikki Carabetta
I am an Aboriginal artist and cultural consultant, I use my art to stay connected with my culture and to highlight issues facing my mob currently and historically. I use predominantly dots which I manipulate to create movement and optical illusions within my paintings. I am a Yamaji and Malak-malak woman from Western Australia and the Northern Territory and have grown up in rural/remote and urban Aboriginal communities, I have lived abd worked in Adelaide for over 25 years and consider myself to be a urban artist.
