Based in Tarntanya (Adelaide), Camille Roulière is a French Australian sculptor and designer whose work explores the states of resilience, transience and fragility—that of our environment, of ourselves and others, of peace and beauty—of what matters (of what makes us human). Camille’s work captures and questions these states through her use of copper and glass, materials that change colour and appearance over time and under different light.

She is particularly interested in the destructive/restorative interplay between humans and their environments. Drawing inspiration from Australian native plants, her intricate work invites slowing down to wonder anew at the fleeting beauty of our environment.
