Artist Statement Tessa (Marie) Bartholomew is a self-taught abstract landscape artist and muralist residing in the scenic Adelaide foothills. Her profound connection to the natural world fuels her creative vision, guiding her to explore vibrant and unexpected colour palettes that inject new vitality into her compositions. Working predominantly in acrylic on canvas, Tessa holds a Bachelor of Design, which deeply influences her artistic approach. In her current works, both existing and imagined landscapes are created with dynamic shapes that interlock and interact, creating striking visual narratives that captivate and engage the viewer.
