Artist Statement I started on my photography journey taking photos of coffee with my phone. I know, I know but we all start somewhere. I then stumbled into street/urban photography and bought my first camera (Nikon D3400) in late 2018 after watching a Sean Tucker video on You Tube. I had no idea how to use it merely twiddling the knobs, dials and buttons until I had what I thought was a picture. I then used YouTube to teach myself the basics before hitting the streets to photograph the cities of Australia with my Fujifilm cameras.

Street gives me the opportunity to be "mindful" where I'm purely focused on that moment in time, not worrying about the past or concerning my self with the future. It has given me the opportunity to reconnect with my community and appreciate the beauty of everyday things.

From humble beginnings I've now become an established and highly respected photographer within my genre and community.
