Alison Von der Borch
Alison von der Borch is a South Australian, exploring the interplay of color and emotion in her work. Mostly self-taught, Alison attended classes at Splashout Studio, known for its relaxed and inspiring environment.
Alison has painted on and off since childhood but started to take her art more seriously in 2024. Through her work, she has discovered the effect of color on emotion, and she is exploring her style and subjects, with a particular fondness for painting people and animals.
She started exhibiting her work in November 2024, participating in The Final Splash exhibition at Gallery M, the Victor Harbor Art Show, and a group exhibition at Flinders Medical Centre
