Artist Statement I am passionate about painting Australian birdlife, capturing the quirky personalities of these intelligent and colorful backyard visitors through an abstract and illustrative approach. My work blends acrylics, pastels, inks, and spray paints, applied with fluid brushstrokes to create dynamic movement and energy. Vibrant, punchy colours are at the heart of my process, bringing each bird to life in a way that feels both expressive and joyful. Through my art, I aim to celebrate the beauty and character of these feathered creatures while inviting viewers to connect with the lively spirit of the natural world.
