I'm Valentina, a passionate Colombian muralist deeply inspired by the beauty of nature. Each piece I create is a celebration of our surroundings and the true beauty found in the smallest things.
Growing up in a rich and colourful cultural background, I developed a genuine love for the natural world from a young age. The therapeutic feeling of being immersed in nature, combined with paints, colours, and messy hands, fueled my artistic passion. In 2016, I founded Vilarte, an art studio representing Life + Art in Spanish, embodying the essence of what art means to me—a vibrant expression of life in all its phases and colours.
Upon arriving in Australia, I decided to refine and expand my skills, leading me to pursue a Graphic Design bachelor at Torrens University. This educational journey allowed me to elevate my talent and passion to new heights.
In 2019, I embarked on the journey of becoming a muralist. Each mural since then has presented a unique opportunity to weave a captivating story and bring communities together. Incorporating the vibrant hues of natural landscapes and realistic details, my murals aim to create a visual language that resonates with diverse audiences.
My ultimate goal is to create large-scale murals that not only tell stories but also serve as a focal point for conversations about the conservation and preservation of our natural world. We owe everything to it, and it is crucial not to take it for granted.
