The artist has used a personal essay written when she was studying writing as the inspiration for this mixed media exhibition. She has painted memories of an idyllic and yet isolated childhood in Papua New Guinea, focussing on people and events that shaped her life. The exhibition includes portraits, landscapes and magical realism.
