A wild free ranging celebration of a mixed bag of landscape in mainly evocative watercolour by a 73 year old right handed artist who likes growing leafy greens and cooking lemon polenta cake for special occasions.

Landscape because it is exciting in form with dramatic light effects, peaceful or rugged, and away from the madding crowd. Watercolour because it is fluid, transparent and opaque, and can blend and fuse colours like no other medium.

Usually I avoid green but it’s everywhere, so this year I have been experimenting with the leafy greens and enjoying the watercolours of Hockney, Sargent and Amanda Hyatt for inspiration.
