'The Human in us' is a collection of drawn portraits, spanning across multiple mediums and styles. We use faces as a portal for information and understanding. Assessing each other in split seconds, based on facial features, movements, and micro expressions. We make assumptions about each other, some true and some not. When we see faces captured in still art and feel their humanity, without movement or expression, is it our own humanity reflected back to us? The human in us will see the human in them.
