Artist Talk, Exhibition
Exploring the complexities of the urban environment, it's linear and abstract forms, community and the natural world within, through painting, printmaking, performance and installation.

The artists investigate the complexity of such spaces in different ways. The built environment encompasses lines and repetitive patterns sometimes hinting at abstract forms. The social aspects of urban life range from ideas of community and cooperation through to anonymity, loneliness and alienation. Although cities are composed of manufactured materials replacing the natural environment, some animals still find a place to exist and it is the green areas and animal life that allow city dwellers some sense of connection to the natural world.

Luna Chan is a finalist in The Advertiser Contemporary Art Award, and is included in the finalist exhibition for this award at Keith Murdoch House, Adelaide.
