At 90, and after experiencing great loss, Donna's inspirational exhibition is about reinvention, renewal and the healing power of the Arts. Beautiful garden surrounds.
Donna Brink Reid creates assemblage and sculptural works from old wood patterns used for casting. Her wood assemblages are layered with character and past history that speaks to her as she moves them playfully to reinvent and reimagine them.
In the past few years Donna lost her home in the hills and all but the clothes on her back to Arsonists, her husband of many years and more recently her talented daughter Kerry Reid to breast cancer.
This exhibition is being supported by Artist Karen Genoff who will showcase Donna's work in her studio. Kg STUDIO Gallery.
