This exhibition is the outcome of the 2023 SALA Solo Photographic Opportunity, presented by Atkins Lab, the Centre for Creative Photography, praxis ARTSPACE, and SALA Festival. Through this opportunity, Yasemin Sabuncu was mentored and supported to develop a new body of photographic work for the 2024 SALA Festival.
In Axis Mundi, Sabuncu pushes in-camera techniques with her iPhone to explore smart phones and their impact on human consciousness.
