Michell Ceramics is founded by ceramicist Meg Michell. She is based in Adelaide, South Australia, where she creates functional ceramic objects for the home.

Inspired by her love of food and entertaining, Meg’s philosophy is to create ceramics she would use herself. Dishes, plates, and bowls for the heart of the home. Serving ware for special feasts and decorative vases for fresh flowers. Ceramics that are the finishing touch, no matter the occasion. Mixing practicality with originality, each piece feels as welcome on the family dining table as it does in a glossy interior design magazine.

Meg grew up in Broken Hill, observing her parents’ interest in art. After losing her father, she found joy in working with clay alongside her mother, who is a skilled sculptor. In 2020, Meg launched Michell Ceramics with help from the next generation of art enthusiasts: her three daughters.
