Yamuti: Fossil Facts and Fantasy Fauna.

Yamuti is the Adnyamathanha word for the fossils that the science community refers to as Diprotodon.
The main art piece of repurposed corflutes with recycled fabric is about Yamuti (Diprotodon) travelling from Adnyamathanha Country to Ngadjuri Country, and the local link with the rail journeys between Adelaide and Burra, creating a contemporary perspective of time where tourism is focussed on fossils. Random fantasy fauna greet visitors on arrival at the Burra Railway Station. This family friendly exhibition is sure to fire the imaginations of children as they view the fossil and engage with the artwork.
