Exhibition
The theme of this year’s exhibition is Adelaide Hills Biodiversity - Artwork reflecting biodiversity across the Mount Lofty Ranges region.

Biodiversity defines the variety of all forms of life on earth — plants, animals and micro-organisms and the ecosystems of which they are a part of. The biodiversity across the Mount Lofty region, of which Adelaide Hills Council is a part, is still considered to be reasonably high and is formally recognised as one of 15 Commonwealth biodiversity hotspots.

A children's art competition will also be running during the exhibition with prizes awarded for different age groups.

A partnership event between The Summit Community Centre and the Hills Environment Centre.

Workshop Wild Webcap Fungi Workshop. 03 Aug 12:30pm - The Wild Webcap is a fungal diversity survey project that trains citizen scientists to identify fungi and contribute observations to data bases such as iNaturalist & Fungimap. We focus on Cortinarius (or webcaps) which is the largest group of symbiotic fungi in Australia, and are a very important partner of Eucalyptus trees. The vital role of fungi for ecosystem health is often underappreciated and this workshop aims to increase people’s understanding and help us all to love fungi! Cost: $5 Booking Required
