Helen Stacey has explored landscapes in remote areas as well as her own Alexandrina region of lake, plains and hills. She revels in colour, shifting light and also its history. Some works are from EXPLORE! (a touring exhibition with Strathalbyn wildlife artist Kathleen Cain) and includes her series 'Was . . . still is . . .' (Aboriginal land).
