Illuminating Perspectives is an outdoor projection exhibition that brings together the innovative works of established professional artists and the creative expressions of artists living with disabilities.

This captivating showcase features "Tricking Through Time" by Emiko Artemis, a compelling piece that explores the disruption of historical narratives. "Tricking Through Time" is about a character who upends history, getting between the layers of the past to disturb the present. The work began during a residency in a historical village of Tasmania where the past sat abruptly against the present, a reminder of all that is unresolved, turned away from and yet to be accounted for. The trickster was born during this residency, a playful, clownish figure that gets in the way and photobombs history. The residency was generously supported by Country Arts SA.

In addition to Emiko Artemis's engaging narrative, the exhibition features artwork displays by talented artists living with disabilities from Bedford, alongside stunning projections by illuminart. Illuminating Perspectives is a testament to the power of inclusive artistic collaboration and the dynamic potential of moving images to bridge diverse experiences and histories. Join us for an evening where light, history, and creativity converge to challenge and inspire.

Also featuring local artist Georgia Button.
