The themes in my work are often those of human activity such as dancing or sleeping. The sleeping figures in my sculptures implies an awakening, self-reflection and disengagement from the outside world. Dancing of course is the act of freely expressing the body and designing movement. My ceramic sculptures often reflect a whimsical and humorous approach to artistic expression.

I am a member of Studio Potters on Fourth in Klemzig and also create at my home studio both painting and ceramics. I was previously a Studio Artist for 16 years at First Street Artist Studios in Brompton where I created the public mosaic sculpture on Goodwood road known as 'The Angel Seat'. My art practice includes primarily ceramics, oil painting, drawing, mosaic and other creative pursuits.

Exhibitions have been numerous including local, interstate and work held in private collections here and overseas. I helped create the arts program for Westcare Centre, Karpandi Aboriginal Women's Program and worked with the purpose of helping others find their own signature art through tutoring, including youth and indigenous women.
