The exhibition titled 'Appeasing Brushstrokes' delves into the world of reality, imagination, dreams and the beauty that nature offers to create captivating paintings on canvas and boards.

My artwork include Australian Landscapes, cityscape, portraiture, still life images and abstract paintings. Some of the titles with description of the paintings are: (1) 'Mall Vibe' - a moment in time at the Rundle Mall, Adelaide (2)‘Migrants in Meadows’ - (Landscape -Alpaca farm at Hindmarsh Island, South Australia; (3) ‘Tequila Chat ‘– (portraiture: Celebrated British Chef Rick Stein. - visit to Mexico); (4) ‘Sunset Splendour in winter’ – (Landscape – Northgate, South Australia). (5) 'Celebration Dream’ – (Abstract painting portraying a person’s dream: multiple human and animal faces are seen in the painting); (6) ‘Solo Singer’- (Abstract painting); (7) Elegant Swans’ – (a cheerful group of three swans in moonlight).(8) 'Beauty in a Vase' - a bunch of orchids and (9) 'Delightful Flowers' - a bouquet of flowers in a transparent vase.

I draw inspiration mainly from the surroundings, nature and keenly observe the creative aspects that are appeasing to me. Whenever possible I take pictures to hold them until my creativity matures for developing an artwork. I then convert them to paintable scenes on my sketchbook and later transfer to canvases with my own twists and flair. At times I get inspiration for paintings from dreams and imaginations.
