Born in Victoria, grew up in Tasmania, I have lived most of my life in South Australia, its where I call home in my heart and embraced life the most. My intention for the exhibition is to explore the divine feminine in the landscape and the visions that have been channeled through, both of which are a big part of me as an artist.

My art is personal, never been one to be in the limelight. How I explore and feel about the world around me. What I feel and see, becomes the projection on to canvas. What ignites my heart, mind and hand to synchronize together to create. Exploring the creative expression outwardly, if its not from my heart there is no passion.

I want a painting to express how I feel in a moment in time. I refuse to go cliche, I never sat within that mold of expectation, for the past 30
years I have developed my own styles focusing on skills in watercolour, oils and acrylics that break all the rules.

I love painting it frees my soul, if I lost that childlike innocence of why and the excitement to paint, then my reason to express would fade.
With that – my work takes on so many expressions, technique’s, styles to explore, impart- my vision with every piece. I want a viewer to feel and touch the excitement of energy that was engaged in a piece of work.

Art is energy projected on to canvas.
