Join us this August at the Nuriootpa Library for 'Amongst the Shelves', a vibrant community art exhibition presented as part of SALA 2025.

This unique showcase celebrates the intersection of literature and visual art, featuring works by local artists who have been guided and supported in workshops held in conjunction with Barossa Regional Gallery and delivered by artists Kari Cooper, Sam Cowley and Tanja Souter.

Each piece draws inspiration from beloved book characters, reimagined through the eyes of local Barossa creatives. Nestled in the heart of the library, the exhibition invites visitors to explore the stories behind the stories, bringing fictional favourites to life in fresh and imaginative ways.
