'Purkarari: Slow down' features major new works by Zaachariaha Fielding alongside collaborative paintings created with Senior artists working out of the APY Art Centre Collective in Adelaide. Purkarari, a Pitjantjatjara word, describes the calm that comes through work—a clarity and quietening of body and mind. For Fielding, this feeling emerges most powerfully in the shared act of painting.

Presented as Adelaide marks 10 years as a UNESCO City of Music, and following Electric Fields being awarded the Key to the City, the exhibition is a powerful tribute to connection, creativity, and Country.
