Inheritance is a series of abstract landscape paintings exploring the land our children will inherit—both its beauty and its burden. Painted during the long summer months, these layered works respond to the changing climate, the quiet depletion of soil and water, and the disconnection between land and ownership.

Drawing from the textures of drought-hardened fields, coastal erosion, and shifting agricultural boundaries, the series becomes a quiet protest and a hopeful reckoning. Inheritance asks: what will remain? And what legacy do we choose to leave behind?

This body of work speaks especially to a generation priced out of owning land, but deeply connected to the earth’s future.
