Exhibition
"The Six Ships Have Landed" is a quote to inspire contemporary textile musings on lost beauty, material trade and visual cues. Muir talks of her inspiration through spoken word, empirical stories, contemporary artists and her natural skills enmeshing her research into history, trade, craft and story-telling. Noting in this world we are currently experiencing, the warning signs of that which is out there are coming to cause our downfall.

This exhibition shows the diversity in Muirs practice through engagement with paint, textiles and mixed media, exploring the ideas of what can happen when you are not looking. She mines the desecration of natural phenomena, the minerals pulled from the Earth and the loss of signs and languages.
