Awarded annually, the Graduate Exhibition Award recognises outstanding work from the University’s graduate exhibitions. The 2025 recipients were Stephen Soeffky for 'Working Together' (Prize Winner) and Karla Hitchcock for 'When She Loved Me' (Commendation).

Soeffky’s 'Working Together' draws on a core principle of sustainable design: reusing materials to reduce waste. The two desks, originally exhibited as a pair, were crafted entirely from a discarded boardroom table originally from the Murdoch media offices. One of these tables is included in this display.

Hitchcock’s 'When She Loved Me' comprises hand‑built terracotta, stoneware and white earthenware jugs, each shaped to evoke the human face in playful, curious ways. Her work deftly weaves together the ancient lineage of ceramic traditions, memory and favourite objects from her early childhood.
