This exhibition brings together a collection of watercolours, ceramics, and felt work inspired by the birds, landscapes, native flowers, pollinators, and small creatures of the region spanning from Willunga to the nearby coast. Reflecting my deep love of the natural world, the works express a deep appreciation for its beauty, vitality, and the wildlife within it, alongside an awareness of the importance of protecting biodiversity and the presence of rare and endangered species.
Celebrating a strong sense of place, the works explore the interconnectedness of the natural world — from native flowers and bees to coastal landscapes and birdlife — highlighting the relationships that sustain these living environments.
Each piece is thoughtfully handmade, reflecting our seasons, local biodiversity, and a quiet, attentive observation of the environment. Together, the collection offers a gentle yet meaningful response to the richness, fragility, and diversity of this unique South Australian landscape.
