Gemma Rose Brook is an Australian painter, based in Adelaide on Kaurna land. Her emotive on-location work explores a hypersensitive and embodied experience of connecting to environments and landscapes. Working from life, her bold compositions, expressive mark-making and distinctive palette draw on modernist and expressionist painting.
