Soft Ruins explores what remains after intimacy. The works begin with communication, move through emotional connection, and arrive at a quiet sense of dislocation in the self. Figures appear calm and unchanged, yet something beneath the surface has shifted. What is shown is not a dramatic break, but a slow, almost invisible collapse.
Through simplified and soft forms, the paintings hold a tension between stability and absence. Words are no longer heard, emotions feel divided, and the self becomes uncertain. What remains is not whole, but still present — a soft ruin.
