Creating canvases from dismantled furniture, Erykah plays with the idea of sustainability and upcycling. What is often discarded is being used and created into something new and innovative. Once an old, white desk transformed into something show stopping, fun, bold and vibrant invites and demands to be “seen.”

This marks Erykah’s first solo exhibition, with a deeply rooted body of work. Bringing emphasis on energy and flow state, something that finds itself repetitively, as she picks up her paintbrush. Erykah’s paintings are rich with influence from her Nigerian - American, Greek and Egyptian heritage woven through abstract and intuitive expression.
