'Ask my sister, we can't remember' is the thesis exhibition of PhD candidate Tara Rowhani-Farid. Drawing on her experience as a first-generation Australian and child of Iranian refugees. Rowhani-Farid uses various approaches to painting to examine how histories shaped by forced displacement and persecution are inherited, kept alive, lost, and reimagined.
