Out of the Bloom is an exhibition about transformation — the emergence of beauty, strength and meaning from experiences often perceived as difficult, complex or confronting. Through painting, ceramics, and digital creativity, artists with disability explore what can grow from challenge: resilience, imagination, connection and joy.

The title suggests a flowering that occurs not in spite of adversity, but through it. Like blooms pushing through harsh conditions, the works in this exhibition reflect moments of becoming — where vulnerability gives rise to creativity and lived experience is transformed into something powerful and deeply human.
