Visual art provides a way for people in prisons across South Australia to express their creativity, unearth new talents and strengths, maintain their identities, and stay connected with their vision and hopes for the future. 'Artists On the Inside' is comprised of artwork created by people during their incarceration in a South Australian adult prison. The works offer glimpses into the artist’s lives, their experiences of incarceration, and provides the platform to share their stories.
