Aggie STAV
Exhibition
Emerging artist, Aggie Stav presents her debut solo exhibition. Aggie started painting approximately 3 years ago and paints abstract florals with bold, bright colour palettes. Prior to becoming an artist she studied psychology and worked in social and community services. Her interest in exploring art with mindfulness and meditative practices connects her past career with her artwork.

Aggie's art practice is intuitive, personal and emotional. Inspired by the gardens of her childhood, her work is simultaneously random, thought out and controlled.

Exhibitions are also open during all other performances in the venue throughout August, see website for more details: https://www.goodwoodtheatreandstudios.com.au/what-s-on

Workshop Abstract Art Workshops. 14 Aug 10:00am - Art impacts us far beyond what we can see. Time after time, it has been proven how art can improve our quality of life, uplift our mood, help us to process emotions, and spark personal empowerment. Art and painting intuitively can assist us on a social, emotional, and spiritual level. Participants will be inspired on how the use of art and the process of creating art can improve one’s well-being. We will explore how painting whilst remaining mindful can relax your mind and body, by allowing the creative process to ‘just happen’ through the appreciation of colour and the flow of paint from the brush to canvas. The four hour workshop will culminate in each participant completing an abstract painting on canvas which they will then take home. All art supplies will be provided as well as a light lunch. This workshop is open to anyone regardless of skill or experience level. All we ask is you prepare to throw some paint around in a relaxed, inclusive and supportive space. Get in quick, limited spaces available. Booking Required
