'Totems' celebrates cultural diversity through collaborative art. The exhibition is a series of Totem Poles reflecting the stories of our residents and clients through the exploration of symbols, pattern and design.

All residents of our Residential Aged Care homes have the opportunity to engage in workshops creating Totem Poles. Residents will be exploring cultural identity, storytelling and individual artistic expression.

Members of the community art group ICreate will also contribute to this project as a way of forming meaningful connections within our community.

The Southern Cross Care Community Foundation supports this program as it is a key activity that promotes social connection and reduces loneliness and isolation.
