Workshop Watercolour Painting Workshop. 31 Aug 09:30am - This all day workshop with award winning artist and tutor Louis, will give you an solid foundation on which to base your watercolour painting. Louis will take you through the key elements that are essential for a watercolour artist to know. His method of teaching is extremly successful and well received by workshop attendees, who find it easy to understand and apply the technques and tricks they learn. Don't miss this opportunity to join this workshop, spots are limited to ensure that all attendees have excellent outcomes. Bring along your own materials, or you can purchase materials for this workshop if wished. This workshop is suitable for begiiners to intermediate artists. About the Artist - Alan Louis Alan Louis is a multi-award winner in his medium of watercolour. Since migrating to Adelaide in 2007, he has won over 15 top art awards and 60 combined awards. He has had nine solo exhibitions and a number of group exhibitions. Highlights include the Waterhouse Natural History Art Prize in 2002, a finalist in the Pro Hart Landscape Art Prize 2017, and the Fleurieu Art Prize and Adelaide Hills Landscape Art Prize 2017. Alan likes the free flow of the watercolour medium as he lays the washes onto the paper to create an atmospheric mood to the painting. Please bring the following MATERIALS with you on the day. Watercolour paints, A2 Cartridge paper, board & clips to which to attach your paper, charcoal, pencils, eraser & a pencil sharpener.
