SALA Tours
Each year, the SALA Festival is accompanied by a selection of guided tours. What better way to explore the festival than with the guidance of a hand-picked local artist! In 2024 there are walking tours of art in the City, bus tours to the Port and to the Karoonda Silos, and self-guided tours in all different directions!

Local & Contemporary Art TOUR

There are limited places on these guided tours, offering a behind-the-scenes look where it all happens: artist studios. You’ll hear from some of the artists and gain insight to the inner workings of these creative spaces.

Adelaide Hills to Karoonda Lights Bus Tour
Take to the hills and beyond on the SALA Art Bus Tour and enjoy a wander of Hahndorf Academy, a behind-the-scenes look at the new centre of Ondeen, an exclusive park tour at Monarto Safari Park, and dinner under the stars at the Karoonda Lights opening event.
Ticket price includes a dedicated artist guide, lunch at Ondeen, exclusive mini tour of Monarto Safari Park, all you can eat pizza at Karoonda Lights and all artist talks.

Port Adelaide Enfield Bus Tour
Celebrate MELTFest and go behind the scenes at art venues from Klemzig to the Port. You’ll hear from artists, watch workshops, and finish off with a wander through the Handmade Night Markets.
